Notes Letter regarding Ross having returned to Gwadur and being satisfied with matters there, and a letter of acknowledgement that Pelly has written to Henry W Warner, who had been acting in Ross's place and whose former ship Berenicehad recently burnt at sea.The letter also discusses the vacant position of Governor in Muskat and a letter Pelly has written to the Sultan regarding Ross' preferred candidate for the position.The letter concludes by informing Ross that Hugh Rosewill remain at Mussendum [Musandam] and that his letters will be forward to Bushire by mail steamer. | 2 folios | more | less
