A commentary on Abu Ḥanīfah's exposition of the pinciples of the Muhammadan faith entitled al-Fiqh al-akbar. Followed by six other works, viz: (1) al-Fiqh al-akbar, with the commentary by Aḥmad b. Muḥ. al-Maghnīsāwī; (2) al-Jauharat al-munīfah, a commentary by Ḥusain b. Iskandar on Abu Ḥanīfah's collection of religious precepts entitled al-Waṣāyah; (3) al-Ibānah ʿan uṣūl al-diyānah, an exposition of various theological dogmas by ʿAlī b. Ismāʿīl al-Ashʿarī; (4) Ḍamīmat kitāb al-ibānah, a dissertation on a passage in the preceeding work relating to the eternity of the Qurʼān, by Muḥ. ʿInāyat al-ʿAlī al-Ḥaidarābādī; (5) An approbation of al-Ashʿarī's Ibānah by ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿĪsa ibn Dirbās; (6) Ḍamīmat ukhra li-kitāb al-ibānah, a treatise similar to (4) by the author of the same.
