Notes Date from Gujurati colophon (f. 161) which also gives the scribe's name as Herbad Meherwanji Herbad Bahramji Herbad Adarji Herbad Bahramji Herbad Shapurji Osta Kawas Herbad Padam Herbad Kekobad Osta Nariman Herbad Ram descended from Mobed Hormazdyar Herbad Ramyar, an inhabitant of the region of Godavra; and the place of writing as Alpai (India)., Title and colophon information from accompanying description now removed to curatorial files., Written in a neat hand, 17 lines per page, the Gujarati in red. The leaves are foliated with Gujarati numbers., Bound in half tan leather and red cloth., Most of the leaves have been repaired by guarding around their outer edges., In Avestan with ritual directions upside down in Gujarati. On f. 1a the caption title is in Persian.
