I. The original text from the traditions of both the Jews and the Samaritans, II. The principal Oriental Targumim or paraphrases, namely I. Chaldaic, (Onkelos, Jonathanis and Hierosolymitana) II. Peach Everything with a Latin version, the greatest part of which has been extracted from the English polyglot Bibles and published separately for that purpose, so that students of languages may have in which to practice, and others may clearly recognize the excellence and usefulness of these paraphrases from here as from a lion's claw. A brief preface of the same concerning the purpose and use of this work is added, and any specimen: and of all that in IV. these chapters and their paraphrases meet with an alphabetical index of words, which may supplement the turn of the lexicon.
