Overlines, signs of renvoi and abbreviations are also rubricated, as well as the drawings of the diagrams., The codex bears 25 drawn handwritten glosses in black ink, alongside with countless textual integrations and external references marked with red inked abbreviations, both in the text block and on the margins, scattered all over the manuscript., Marginal notes, providing explanations on some subjects discussed in the manuscripts., Sketches of the human skull's sutures (p.1), jaws and mouth bone system (p.2), nervous system (p.4)., It is an abridgment of the anatomy-related section (the second of the first part) of the celebrated and very extensive 10th century medical compendium known as the Kitāb al-Malak., The text is deliberately subdivided into two main parts (maqālatayn), which are organized, in turn, into chapters (abwāb) and sections (fuṣūl)., Text in Arabic., Print version record, Incipit : بسمله. رب اشرح لي صدري و یسر لي ... المقاله الاولي في الاعضاء البسیطة ...
