Sample Text	Fetâvâ-yı Ali Efendi, which consists of the fatwas of Çatalcalı Ali Efendi (d. 1103/1692), one of the 17th century Ottoman sheikhulislams, is the most well-accepted in the Ottoman scientific world and was approved by the Fetvahane. Fetâvâ-yı Ali Efendi is the first and most voluminous of the four fatwa magazines that were most well-received in the Ottoman scientific world and deemed reliable by the Fatwahane. The fatwa magazine, which was formed by the compilation of Ali Efendi's fatwas by the fatwa scholars while he was still alive, was quickly copied in the following process, came to the fore with the nukûl works done by different names, and was published together with its nukûl many times in the last century of the Ottoman Empire. Although there are previous publications of Fetâvâ-yı Ali Efendi, the work you have in your hand is the most comprehensive and careful publication of the work so far. Because, on the basis of this study, various manuscripts and printed copies were scanned and compared, the identified copyist and printing errors were corrected and the deficiencies were completed, and 4649 fatwas of Şeyhülislam Ali Efendi were reached. On the other hand, a review section on the life of Çatalcalı Ali Efendi, his scientific personality and the general characteristics of his Fatawa has been added to the introduction. It is expected that this study will contribute to the literature on the Ottoman scientific world and attract the attention of researchers working in various fields and lead to different studies to be conducted in the future.
