| Notes | Ali Pasha was married three times. His first wife was Bejanidze Firuze Hanım (daughter of Sefer Bey) from the Batumi Dynasty. After his divorce from Firuze Hanım around 1884-1886, he married Meryem and Hamide Hanım (ca. 1859-). Ali Pasha died in Istanbul in 1911 and was buried in the cemetery of Fatih Mosque. Captain Çürüksulu Ziya Bey was a son of Ali Paşa. Hamide Hanım's children were: Zekiye, eldest son Ziya (1884-), son Kamil (1885-) and Ali Fuat (1893-); Meryem's three daughters were: Huriye (who died in infancy), Melek (1897/8-), and Süreyya (said to have died childless). |
