Narrative writing today has become a mirror of contemporary human thought in its anxiety, doubt, and misery, and a powerful weapon that man possesses to confront the destruction directed against his humanity, and a tool to resist evil, helplessness, and surrender. Critics have said, “The novel is the collection of Arabs in the twentieth century.” It is capable of documenting our connection with reality and knowing it in a profound way. Hence the importance of this study, which worked to trace the aesthetics of composition in the novelist discourse of (Ayman Al-Atoum), in his (fourteen) novel texts. The study was divided into five chapters, namely the aesthetic formation of (textual thresholds, linguistic structure, artistic image, narrative structures, and cinematic techniques) using the descriptive analytical approach and critical tools from other contemporary approaches. The study came out with some results, the most prominent of which is that Ayman Al-Atoum is a prominent Arab novelist who combined several distinct characteristics that shaped him into a writer who made a long-standing name in the Arab literary arena, most notably the cohesive language and compositions. Strong, attractive artistic images, overflowing feelings, fertile imagination, and well-crafted fabric. In addition, he is a novelist who wrote about the issues of the Arab world and the pursuit of freedom, and adherence to principles and high morals. He also excavated obscure history, revealed many important events in it, and delved into miraculous novels, addressing many social and political issues. Modernist narrative techniques played a prominent role in the distinction of his novelistic discourse, as he was kind in their use and invested in them well. And employing it, it increased his speech creativity, sublimity, and depth, and his literary productions were greatly accepted by the Arab reader, who found in him something that touched his inner being and satisfied his literary taste. --
