Notes
The field of this research is to study the impact of the theory of communication - as the researcher calls it - by Roman Jakobson, on modern Arabic literary criticism. I studied the subject, starting from the roots of communication in the West and the roots of the theory in the fields of language, media, and criticism, and its impact on modern Western criticism, then the roots of communication among the Arabs, and defining its concept in the Arab heritage and in modern Arabic writings. Then the researcher presented the elements of the theory in detail, its place in modern Arab criticism, and the nomenclature and terminology by which its functions and relationships to each other were known. Bibliography: p. 307-332
