Notes The topics of this book fall into two topics: The first relates to the classification of poetry into types, that is, subjecting it to a concept that sees poetry as a literary verbal type based on types, and the second relates to the relationship between poetry and prose, especially from the point of view in which poetry contributes to building the rhetoric of the text in the prose narrative. What we aspire to is to go beyond the classical genre level of comparing poetry and prose and classifying poetry within the classification of literature, to questioning the internal genre pattern of poetry itself as a discourse capable of genre modeling. The book aims in particular to bring up three issues: the need for a qualitative study of poetry, the study of the intersections of the poetic and the prose, and then the need within that to identify the poetic in the prose narrative. -- Bibliography: pages 291-295.
