Notes	Title borrowed from Lakoff and Johnson’s book “Metaphors We Live By”; It is intended to prove that the text does not stop at its linguistic character consisting of sounds, syllables, structures, structures, and functions, but rather it is an action, an event, and an achievement that accompanies a person in all his circumstances. It is an act, a thought, a verbal event, and a general framework for its various activities in communication, reception, speech, achievement, creativity, and mental imagination. The text is a restructuring of the world according to choices, plans, and locations. Textual science is a legitimate offspring of linguistics, as it is what brought it out of the cognitive confusion that surrounded it and from the ambiguity of boundaries to the clarity of concepts and terminology. The linguistic thinker Van Dyck made the science of text take its concepts and applications from rhetoric, but he prevented the standardization of old Western rhetoric from transferring to the science of text. -- Includes bibliographic references.
