Notes Moroccan critic and researcher Dr. Hassan Al-Moudin published a new critical book titled “The Rhetoric of Persuasive Discourse... Towards a Systematic Conceptualization of the Rhetoric of Discourse.” The book consists of an introduction, a general introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. Al-Moudin believes in the introduction to his book, issued by Dar Kunuz Al-Ma’rifah Al-Ilmiyya for Publishing and Distribution in Jordan, “that interest in the rhetoric of persuasion is inseparable from what is happening in the current era. Persuasion is the most prominent problem in a world that is experiencing rapid and continuous progress in the means of communication, communication, and media. This interest is governed by an acute awareness of the urgent need for a culture of communication and persuasion, because it constitutes a humane alternative to violence and extremism, and more than a few contemporary researchers consider that there is no option for the world to emerge from its predicament except to be convinced of a “deliberative rationality” based on dialogue and the values of mediation and exchange. As long as we communicate and discuss or exchange and interact, there is the possibility for us to change and be changed... and some of them call for the preservation of persuasive discourse and its immunity by “Universal deliberativeness” that makes every human discourse based on agreed-upon ethical value bases. -- Bibliography: p. 355-372
