Aside from medicine and his huge contributions to the advancement of diabetes and obesity sciences worldwide, through his research and numerous scientific books, he is an artist, writer, and poet. His overwhelming love for Egypt’s history and identity prompted him to compile hundreds of articles about the events of Egypt at the time they occurred from the world press so that we can discover with him the other side of the picture in all its details and without frills or falsification.
