Imam Ibn Hazm represents an important and influential aspect in the history of Andalusian thought in particular, and Islamic and humanitarian thought in general, as he is one of the few jurists who occupied themselves with scientific, political, economic, social and religious projects at the same time, to extricate the society in which he lived from its stumbling block. He is also considered one of the first Andalusians to confront the tyranny and control of the Maliki school in Andalusia, and called for the liberation of the political and scientific systems. Judicialism is part of some of their traditions, and therefore this call of Ibn Hazm was an enabler of a new doctrine in Andalusia, the Zahiri doctrine (which depends on diligence and renewal), which gained popularity and spread during the era of the Almohad state, which made them take it as their official doctrine. The book includes several chapters and integrated topics. The first was devoted to chronicling the turbulent life of Ibn Hazm, and presenting his encyclopedic culture that qualified him to be one of the best scholars, jurists, and historians of Islam. It is not surprising then that Ibn Hazm Al-Zahri is considered responsible for the greatest “cultural revolution” witnessed by the Maghreb and Andalusia. The book dealt with the political role of Ibn Hazm. Whether in supporting the Umayyad state in Andalusia during its period of weakness, or in trying to revive it - after its fall - to save the country and the people from the corruption of the sect kings. He also explained Ibn Hazm's economic role. He also demonstrated his enlightenment perspective in adopting a call for social reform that embraced the liberation of slaves, the liberation of women in light of the teachings of Islam, and the liberation of the Muslim citizen in general as required by the sublime principles and virtuous ethics of Islam. His call aimed to reform “the shepherd and the flock” at the same time. Therefore, this book is considered proof that Ibn Hazm was the author of a reform project with multiple aims and objectives. He worked to achieve it in Andalusia to be the nucleus for its dissemination in all regions of “Dar al-Islam.” From here; We are not exaggerating when we call for guidance by decisive thought and its light in facing the reality of a crisis that the Islamic world is currently going through. -- Bibliography: p. 367-395
