These are the Seven Alawiyat Poems by Abu Hadid, and Mr. Sahib Al-Madarik explained them. He said, beginning with the basmalah, then starting with the preamble: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord, by necessity of existence... As for what follows: The seven high-level poems composed by the learned Sheikh Izz al-Din Abdul Hamid bin Abi al-Hadid, may God gather him with those who love him, contain many virtues and good jokes...
