In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the question of the amount of a saa’, Al-Hasan and Muhammad said, and a saa is the Saa’ of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it is like a loose calf, which is one-third of a shuttle. Al-Hasan, peace be upon him, said: I weighed the saa’ and found it to be six hundred and forty dirhams.
