The first is that it is commanded to strive, and the apparent meaning of the command indicates the obligation. The second is that it is forbidden to sell it at the time of calling for it, and it is not forbidden to do what is permissible unless it abandons what is obligatory, and if it abandons what is obligatory, it is forbidden. The third is that it is discouraged from abandoning it by saying at the end of the verse, “And if they desire trade or diversion, they disperse to it.” (Image: 012)
