In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful. Praise be to God, who humbled himself before the greatness of the greats and declared his lordship to the wise, and humbled before his glory those on earth and heaven, the Creator of creation, the Extender of sustenance, the cause of causes, and the subjugator of the clouds, and He is the Mighty, the Bestower... As for what follows; I wrote this book and made it a collection of chapters, hoping for reward from God and fearing painful punishment.
