Benefit: Ibn Abbas said in the Almighty’s saying: “And divorced women shall wait for themselves three menstrual periods...and their husbands have more right to return them in that.” If a man divorced his wife, he had more right to take her back, but if he divorced her three times, he abrogated that and said: “Divorce is twice.” Narrated by Abu Dawud.
