In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and by Him we seek help. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family. The eminent sheikh, the eminent scholar, Muhyi al-Din, mayor of the Almohads, Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Walid al-Qurashi, told us. He read it to him. He said, “The eminent imam, who trusts in God, Ahmad ibn Sulaiman ibn Talhadi, peace be upon him, informed us of a communion and then a reading to the beginning of the Book of Commandments. He said, Praise be to God, the Great, the Most High, the Possessor of greatness, majesty, grace, and favour.
