Notes	Manuscript code in the library: 6. Size: 23 x 17. The book is a footnote to Abu Zakaria Yahya Al-Ansari’s explanation of Al-Khazrajiya’s poem in the science of prosody. There are additions and corrections in some margins throughout the book in the author's handwriting. The first booklet contains a detailed indexing of the book. At the end of the book we read, “The author, may God protect him, said, ‘The footnote was completed on the eighth day of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 1273 AH.’” In Part 1, we read: “As for what follows, this book, Sharh al-Tabyin, was purchased by Ibrahim bin Abi Bakr bin Babah bin Isa bin Amara al-Qarari with a valid purchase, and he locked it up and it remains in the hands of [such and such] as long as he lives, then in the hands of his heirs and the heirs of his heirs, and so on. It is not permissible for anyone to dispose of it in any kind of transaction at all, so whoever changes it or not, God is a watcher over him, and that is for the ten days of Rajab 1329 AH.” In this restriction, the author, Muhammad bin Youssef Tfayesh, corrected by handwriting in the margin the title “Explanation of Al-Tabyin.” This restriction indicates that the volume is not original, so where is its content? - Medium - The skin is separate, not original. Booklets are separate and numbered. The leaves are unkempt, with water marks. The book was originally numbered and certified.
