Surat Maryam is a Meccan surah, and it is ninety-eight verses, with the opening of the ha’ and the kasrah of the yā’ of Hamza, with the kasra of the yā’ by Asim, and the ḍamma of it with the hasra’. This is recited from the Qur’an: “Remember the mercy of your Lord” and recite a mention on the lam, God’s shepherd in concealing sincerity and calculating.
