In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. This is a poem by Da’bal bin Ali Al-Khuza’i, may God Almighty have mercy on him. He was one of those who were fond of loving the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them. He was an eloquent communicator, a Shiite known for his love of the Prophet’s descendants and the satisfactory tree whose root was blessed and grew, and whose root was firm and whose branches were in the sky, cut off in hatred of the Abbasids and their attacks, until no one remained, not even of their descendants. He said:
