In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... The Opening of the Book. The martyr Imam Abu Al-Hussein Zaid bin Ali said... The Qur’an is the name of the Book of God Almighty in particular, and none of the other books are called anything other than it. Rather, it is called the Qur’an because it contains surahs.
