The author said, “Rather, being poor is a condition.” He said, “Because the verse clearly states that, and so seek the guide.” It stipulates being gentle. It is a statement of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and it is sufficient. He mentioned it by me, Muzaffar, on the authority of them, and the father mentioned it in al-Masabih, and he mentioned it in al-Zuhur, in the chapter on purity, on the authority of, peace be upon him, where he said that in the words of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is an indication of a condition.
