Sample Text [This handwritten memoir (2nd book) was written by Mehmed Asaf Saygun and the notes were kept with a fountain pen. Although the first two pages are damaged, the writings are readable. There are no missing pages. According to the note on the inner cover, this memoir was simplified from the memoir (1st book) whose outer covers were broken, and was re-written by the author after he was freed from Russian captivity and returned to his hometown Hendek. It is stated that the author named the memoir (1st book) "Captivity Memories and Adventures", whose outer covers were broken, and that the town of Vetluga, Volga, where the author lived in captivity for nearly three years.
