Short photograph of a manuscript, Dated manuscript, Contents: Commentary on the Minhāǧ at-taḥqīq wa-maḥāsin at-talfīq fī uṣūl ad-dīn by ʿImādaddīn Yaḥyā ibn al-Ḥasan ibn Mūsā al-Qurašī aṣ-Ṣaʿdī (d. 780 / 1378-79) on theology., Writing: Medium-sized, strong, sparsely dotted Nasḫī. Highlights through the use of a wider qalam and red ink (individual highlights also only redone)., Binding: Light brown, restored, bumped, stained leather binding with blind pressing and flap. Lid framed by three wide strips filled with floral patterns. In the middle is a multipass almond with rays emerging from its passes. The almond is divided into two enclosing areas, the outer one of which is filled with a pattern similar to the ridges. A pile of 4 circles at the tips of the almond and in the corners of the main field. The inner area contains a pattern of small punched circles and lines. The ornamentation on the pointed side of the flap corresponds to that of the lid. In the middle of the bridge there is a cartridge filled with S-shaped elements.
