Short shot of a manuscript, content: Commentary on the Kitāb at-Taḏkira al-fāhira fi fuqahāʾ al-ʿitra aṭ-ṭāhira by al-Ḥasan Ibn-Muḥammad an-Naḥwī (died 1389), writing: Something small, rather carelessly written, sparsely dotted Nasḫī. Highlights through the use of a wider qalam and red ink (individual headings traced in red)., Binding: Maroon restored worm-eaten leather binding with blind pressing without flap (these apparently removed or lost). Lid frame with multiple strips filled with floral patterns. The main field is filled with a geometric pattern of rectilinear bands that forms a dodecagonal star in the center. (An analogous decor in Haldane, No. 4).
