Author cannot be determined, short copy of a manuscript, content: Both the biblical text and the fragments of patristic commentaries that follow it are Syrian and written in the script we are familiar with. Each book is divided into chapters, different from those found in the Bible editions, each grouping together a group of verses of related content. An index has been provided for these chapters, but it is in disarray. The first chapter of Genesis begins with page 6. The Arabic translation used in the text does not agree with either the Arabic text of the polyglots or that of the Erpenius edition. The patristic fragments from which the commentary is composed belong to a considerable number of writers, Dated manuscript, old signature: Codices orientales 61, BSB provenance: Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter (1506-1557)
