Short copy of a manuscript, content: Rarely attested excerpt (Muḫtaṣar) from the Kitāb al-Ansāb by Abū-Saʿd ʿAbd-al-Karīm Ibn-Muḥammad Ibn-Manṣūr at-Tamīmī, completed in 846/1442 through the use of additional sources as-Samʿānī (d. 562/1167) about the Nisben. The text in the present manuscript, which is incomplete at the end, breaks off in the lemma "al-Ḫaiwaqī" or "al-Ḫīwaqī"., Scripture: Changing hands (pp. 12b-13a). Large fleeting partially dotted Nasḫī. The lemmas are highlighted in red and, on the first 12 sheets, the years of death., Cover: Red-brown leather strap with blind pressing and flap. The lid is framed by a wide dark brown strip surrounded by yellow lines. In the middle is a yellow painted many-pass almond filled with flowers and tendrils, in the middle of which there is a green-blue colored square field. In the vertical axis, the almond is connected to the frame by a yellow line. On the sides of the frame, yellow flowers painted singly or in groups of three. Back and bridge light brown. A thumb-sized piece of the back has broken off in the middle.
