Short shot of a manuscript, content: collective manuscript. Letter from the Zaydi Imam to the community of Ṭabaristān, equipment: red-brown worm-eaten half-leather strap with blind pressing. Flap torn off. Lid covered with dirty green paper. A multipass almond filled with flowers and tendrils with separate pendants as a central ornament, script: several alternating hands and ducts: mostly (up to approx. sheet 170) medium-sized, somewhat angular, fully dotted Nasḫī.
