Short shot of a manuscript, old signature: Codices orientales 24, cover: old original cover decorated from inside and out, contents: a magnificent copy of the Koran, writing: the first, eighth and fifteenth lines of each page are written in red and larger than the rest of the text. The individual Koran verses are separated from each other by golden circles bordered in blue and with a red dot in the middle. The bookmarks are above the text. The writing is Persian, Nasḫī, very beautifully written, dated handwriting, features: smoothed paper. Wide rim and double gold edging. The first two pages with the first and the beginning of the second surah are decorated with magnificent golden and colored arabesque decorations
