Notes Fragment, writing: The mostly dotted Nasḫī is similar to the writing of the Cod. Brit. Museum or 4950, which was written in 877 AD in the Palestinian monastery of St. Chariton. Graf dates the manuscript to the 9th century. What is more peculiar to the script is the spelling of Fā' with a dot underneath for Qāf, features: highlights in red: heading (page 4a), punctuation marks (red circle enclosing a black dot). In vegetabilder ornamentation the marginal strip Bl. 3b, bottom, 4a, top, BSB provenance: Together with Cod.arab. 1066 - 1071 from a collection of oriental manuscripts that Friedrich Grote-Hahn, Leutkirch, had brought with him from Egypt, purchased on April 15, 1921 for £2 = 480 marks, short photo of a manuscript, content: Verbatim excerpts from an apology for Christianity [among others]. Part 1 (sheets 1a-3b): Rest of the 13th chapter of the original work with written evidence for the deity of Christ: New Testament testimonies (from the explanation of Luke 17:12-19). Part 2 (sheets 4a-b): Initial part of the 12th chapter with evidence for the human and divine nature of Jesus and for the identity of his person with the God of the Old Covenant, in comparison with the corresponding scriptures.
