Short photo of a manuscript, content: "Mihr ü Müşteri", Sun and Jupiter, Mesnewî poem in Turkish, written under Sultan Murâd İbn-i Muhammed Khân, (Murâd II, r. 1421-51), in whose praise there are two poems at the beginning, the second of which has the peculiarity that the letter Alif does not appear in it at all; is a translation of the Persian poem of the same name by Sheikh Muhammed Ibn Ahmed from Tebrîz, called al-ʿAṣṣār, script: good, old vocalized copy in Neskhî, codex incomplete: incomplete at the end; but not much can be missing, as 5 pages of the final speech are still available. The manuscript was brought from Cairo by J. J. Marcel, old signature: Quatremère 3, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
