Short shot of a manuscript, content: Alleged sayings, sermons and letters of ʿAlī, writing: medium-sized, full-dotted, partially vocalized, somewhat flat, carefully written Nasḫī. Numerous expressions and dicta highlighted by a wider qalam. Many highlights red or ochre-yellow. Text mirror frame with a single or double red line, cover: polychrome leather strap with gold embossing and flap: the main field of the cover red, the strip of the frame black-brown, the spine and hinge of the flap brown. Lid framed by a wide strip surrounded by a gold line. In the middle is a multipass almond filled with flowers and tendrils, which is connected to the narrow side of the frame via the vertical axis - in the form of a gold line. In the corners and on the flap there are curved decorative pieces similar to the almond. On the bridge a cartouche, BSB provenance: From the Glaser collection (1855-1908), old signature: Cod.arab.
