Content: Treatise on the principles of jurisprudence (uṣūl al-fiqh), also known under the title al-Fuṣūl al-luʾluʾīya al-ǧāmiʿa li-aqwāl āl ar-rasūl fī 'l-uṣul. The treatise, which was completed in Şafar 879/June 1474, is divided into a muqaddima and numerous chapters (abwāb). Enclosed are two loose sheets. from different hands. The first is a fragment of a Sufi work - possibly a commentary - according to the authorities quoted here (Ibn-ʿAṭāʾallāh [al-Ḥikam al-ʿAṭāʾīya]; Šaiḫ Šuʿaib Abū Madyan) of šāḏilitic provenance, script: medium-sized cursory partially dotted nasḫī, keywords and headings are highlighted in different colors (red, yellow, green), cover: red-brown, brittle, worm-eaten leather strap with blind pressing. Flap torn off. The back is very damaged. The central ornament is an almond filled with flowers and tendrils with pendants that are connected to the mandorla via the vertical axis, BSB provenance: Eduard Glaser (1855-1908). - Munich, BSB., old signature: Cod.arab.
