Dated manuscript, content: Treatise on the principles of jurisprudence (uṣūl al-fiqh), also known under the title al-Fuṣūl al-luʾluʾīya al-ǧāmiʿa li-aqwāl āl ar-rasūl fī 'l-uṣul. The treatise, which was completed in Şafar 879/June 1474, is divided into a muqaddima and numerous chapters (abwāb), script: medium-sized, somewhat carelessly written, sparsely dotted nasḫī. Emphasis with a broader qalam (headings, the expressions faṣl, bāb, etc.) and with red ink (names of authorities and titles of works); the headings written in bold black are occasionally redrawn, the names are partly painted over in red, cover: bright red restored leather binding with flap and blind pressing. Lid framed by strips. A braided band pattern in the middle bar. The corners bevelled.
