Short shot of a manuscript, cover: old original leather binding with decorations, dated manuscript, old signature: Cimelia III, 1, b., BSB provenance: Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter, features: decorations on the first two pages and on the last page. The manuscript's cover was restored in 1958. The book block was re-stapled, the cover including the spine and the capitals were renewed. The old covers (the leather) of the covers were retained and transferred to the new cover. The embossing of the original covers was retained. No restorations were carried out on the book block. // As of: June 12, 2023, font: A true masterpiece of Maghribian writing. Large font, the headings of the surahs in Kufic character.
