Emphasis through use of a wider qalam and red ink., Contents: Text 1 (sheets 1b - 21a): Fragments of the 6th and 10th ǧuzʾ. - Text 2 (pages 22b - 59b): Fragment of the known geography of the Arabian Peninsula, contents: Part 1 (pages 1b-21a): Fragments of the 6th (fī 's-sīra al-aḫīra ilā ẓuhūr al-islām) and 10th ǧuzʾ of the ten-volume geography of southern Arabia, which is next to genealogical, historiographical and topographical material also contains an anthology of ancient Yemeni poetry. Only four parts of the work are known to have survived, namely ǧuzʾ 1, 2, 8 and 10. Volumes 4-6 offer a history of ancient southern Arabia up to the beginnings of Islam (as-sīra as-siyar al-qadīma, al-wusṭā, al-aḫīra). The fragments of the 6th volume are also largely preserved in aṭ-Ṭabarī's historical work.
