Short photo of a manuscript, content: The second book of "Maṯnawī" with a prosaic introduction. This is followed by 3 Ghazels by the same poet, one with the Taḫalluṣ Šams-al-Ḥaqq Tabrīzī and 2 with the T. Khamush. At the end is the beginning of the "Golestān" (2 pages), Scripture: Written in Nasḫī by Mūsā Ibn-Yaḥyā Ibn-Ḥamza al-Maulawī, with the old spelling of "ḏ" for "d" as in Cod.pers. 35. Headings in red ink, cover: brown leather cover with flap and colored woven capital based on an oriental model from 1958 (restoration by the Institute for Preservation and Restoration of the Bavarian State Library), equipment: on thick cotton paper, BSB provenance: Étienne Quatremère (1782-1857)
