Short photograph of a manuscript, content: The first volume of the "Ǧāmiʿ at-tawārīḫ" by Rašīd-ad-Dīn. Fol. 1-68: The 40 "ḥekāyāt" [stories] about Ġāzān Ḫān, also mentioned below in Fol. 386, complete with a short preface, which is also included on Fol. 386 1.10, and with a summary. This part was written in the year 1015 [h.q.] [1606 or 1607];, Contents: Fol. 69-76 blank; then by another hand. Fol. 77-391: "Čangīzīa" (Kitāb-i tārīḫ-i Čangīzḫānī), first contains the preface, which was also published by Quatremère in his Histoire des Mongols de la Perse. Then the “enumeration of the tribes of the Turks” begins. Fol. 125: The history of the kings of the Mongols and Turks in 2 faṣl 1) "History of the ancestors of Genghis Ḫān", 2) Fol. 137b: "History of Genghis Ḫān". Then follows the history of his sons and successors, Uktāy [Ögedei] Ḫān, Kuyūk Ḫān etc., the history of Hūlāgū [Hülegü] Ḫān fol. 300b to 323 1.3 from below (which forms the first volume of the Histoire des Mongols de la Perse published by Quatremère), then history of Abaqa Ḫān, Arghun Ḫān (fol. 346), Ġāzān Ḫān (fol. 358) in 2 "qasam", the second of which begins on fol. 360b. To the life of each prince are appended his genealogy, an outline of his character, the enumeration of his wives and children, the history of the contemporary Ḫalīfs, kings, Sulṭāns and Atābeks and the remarkable events during his reign. From fol. 386 a section on the virtues and qualities of Ġāzān Ḫān, which contains what is contained in the previous 2 "qasam" is not included. This "qasam" consists of 40 "ḥekāyāt", of which only the contents are available. Fol. 386b: These 40 stories are available in full in Fol. 1.68. The story continues until Oldshaytu Sulṭān, until the 11th of Šawwāl 703 [h.q.] [17.05.1304] (Fol. 390b 1.4). The copy of this part of the manuscript from Fol. 77 is very beautifully written in the year 952 [h.q.] [1545] by ʿAlī al-Kātib aš-Šīrāzī., Contents: On the first page the contents of the entire volume are given by J.
