Short photograph of a manuscript, Dated manuscript, Contents: Commentary on the textbook of traditional science with the title Kitāb ʿUlūm al-ḥadīṯ or Kitāb fī uṣūl al-ḥadīṯ by Abū-ʿAmr ʿUṯmān Ibn-Ṣalāḥ-ad-Dīn Abu-'l-Qāsim ʿAbd-ar-Raḥmān Ibn-ʿUṯmān, Ibn aṣ-Ṣalāḥ (d. 643/1245)., Writing: Changing hands or ducts. Highlights (headings, individual expressions such as qauluhū) red. There are numerous places for headings that need to be added, etc. released (e.g. sheet 208b)., Binding: chestnut brown leather strap with blind pressing and flap, repaired in the Orient. The front cover torn off. The pointed side of the flap is lost and the bridge is deeply torn from both ends. Lid framed by multiple strips, the widest of which is filled with a pattern of rectangular stamps. The corners bevelled. In the middle is a circular medallion that encloses two triangles placed one on top of the other.
