Short shot of a manuscript, Dated manuscript, Contents: Parts 1-3 of the well-known encyclopedia of Arabic poetry., Writing: Medium-sized, largely unpunctuated Nasḫī., Cover: Damaged maroon leather binding with blind pressing (using the cut-out technique) without a flap (this torn off). The leather at the head of the spine torn. Lid framed by multiple strips, some of which are filled with an S-band pattern. Corner fillings. In the middle a many-pass almond with pendants. The floral-filled decorative pieces are covered with yellowish colored paper. Blind lines along the horizontal and vertical axes converge in the center of the almond., BSB provenance: Eduard Glaser (1855-1908). - Munich, BSB.
