Notes Digital images of Min Makkah Ila Mesir, a manuscript narrating the pilgrimage from Mecca to Egypt via Syria and Turkey, to visit the graves of Muslim saints.The journey began Isnin 15 Jumadilakhir 1300 (23 April 1883 AD) The colophon reads "Jumadil Akhir 15 hari Isnin 1300 Hijriah sampai Jumadil Akhir 17 hari Sanat 1301 Hijirah". The manuscript measures 13.5 x 21 cm; the text block 10.5 x 20.4 cm. It consists of 6 folios, written in black ink on local paper. Much of the manuscript is covered in what appears to be adhesive tape; the pages are darkened with dirt.
