Notes The manuscript was composed by Fulani scholar Muhammad Jamraabal bun Mu’adh of Fuuta Jalon (Guinea) in 1219Hijri/1804BC. It is a copy of another manuscript originally written by North African scholar Muhammad al-Masrii. The custodian’s late father, Muntaga Tall, is listed as the owner of the document. He inherited it from his uncle, Ceerno Seydou Nourou Tall. Le manuscrit a été écrit par un érudit peuh Muhammad Jamraabal Muunadh du Fuuta Jalon (Guinée) en 1219 Hijri / 1804 BC. C’est une copie d’un autre manuscrit original quoi fut écrit par un érudit nord-africain Muhammad al-Masri. Le défunt père de Madani Taal, Mountaga Tall, est indiqué comme le propriétaire du document. Il l’a hérité de son oncle, Ceerno Seydou Nourou Tall. Extent: 1 manuscript containing 151 pages. Size and dimensions of original material: Height 20.5cm, width 16.5cm, depth 2cm. Condition of original material: The manuscript was dusty before digitization. It is clearly legible, black ink is fading, paper is turning yellowish with age, foxing present. Custodial history: Ceerno Seydou Nourou Tall owned the mabuscript, which he inherited from his family. After his death, Mountaga Tall inherited it. After the latter's death, Madani Taal inherited the book. He is now the custodian of the entire manuscript holding.
