The book is relating the gist of the history of Sokoto from the hijira of Sheikh Uthman Fodio to the occupation of the whiteman. Extent and format of original material: 95 items in paper format. Physical characteristics of original: The material has become brittle and yellowish with age. Most of the papers are about 8 1/2 by 11 inches in size.
