Notes	Digital images of Al-Risala which states the science of monotheism and remembrance and the nature of prayer. Creators: Haji Muhammad Saleh Jaw-al-Ramin bin Abdul Mukmin Palembang; a certain ‘Haji Shalih bin Jawa-al-din ‘Abdulwahab Palembang Kampung 16 Ilir Puran Kampung Baru’ is mentioned as the owner. Dates: Completed copied on 5 days of the month of Rajab, Saturday at 12 Sannah 1305, Alif year at the same time as……….[Copied on 5 Rajab 1305 AH (18 March 1888 AD)]. Notes: Islamic knowledge about the Oneness of God, belief, the meaning of dhikr (remembrance of God) and the essence of prayer. Covered with bright blue leathered boards with blind tooled embellishments a la Palembang. Cover and spine are deteriorating, but overall condition of the manuscript is good and clearly readable. The writing is in black and red ink, which in the case of the black ink has oxidized and reacted with the paper. On several pages we find mold and water stains. Several pages at the end of the manuscript have been torn out. The manuscript is known and we find black insect spots on many pages. Watermark: A crowned lion with a sword in its right paw and a bow and arrows in its left front paw. Accompanied by the capital letters VI. Colophon: With the grace of Allah ta'ala and his gifts and with his guidance and taufik Allah ta'ala is also noble and knows xxx and to his presence is also the best place to surrender wallahu'alam bissawab. The end of the long treatise was to explain the science of tauhit and dhikr and the essence of prayer on the five days of the month of Rajab, Saturday at 12 o'clock on Hijrat one thousand three hundred and five in the year of Alif.
