A treatise on logic by Muḥammad ʻAlī ibn Ḥusayn al-Mālikī (1870-1948). A colophon (image 39) records that this copy was completed on Sunday 14 Jumādá II 1321/6 Sept 1903 by Muḥammad ibn Ismaʻīl al-Maymanī, known as al-Shīnāwī. Dense marginal notes in Arabic in places, dated 1321 on image 35. A graph in image 23. This work was printed in Mecca in 1904, a year after the date of this copy. Either it existed in a previous edition, or circulated in manuscript form, or the date on this copy is incorrect. Physical characteristics: Black ink on paper; water damaged towards end of volume.
