The volume contains letters written in Arabic and their English translations by the government Arabic writer, Mohamed Sanusi. The letters are correspondence between members of the colonial government, especially the governors or Thomas George Lawson, the government interpreter, and Muslim leaders in nearby areas such as Great Scarcies. The letters deal with matters related to disputes, Muslim charms, and petitions from political prisoners. Extent: 1 volume containing 282 pages.
