Notes The manuscript is the original. Based on the interview with the owner, it was written in the 1980's. Red, green, purple, and black ink are used throughout the manuscript. There are Arabic words in the text, including in the opening formula. This manuscript praises the achievements of Serigne Abdoul Ahad Mbacke when he led the Muridiyya order (1968-1989). The author underscores his efforts to improve the infrastructure of the city of Touba by creating new roads, improving the sanitary conditions, expanding the size of the mosque of Touba, and implementing a rigorous disciplinary and safety program in the city, among others. The author describes Serigne Abdoul Ahad as a protector of all Murid disciples and a true embodiement of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba. Physical characteristics of original material: There are some stains in some pages, but they are generally clear and easy to read.
